PURPOSE: To guide a driver in fitting a safety belt by preventing an automobile from being started and traveled unless the driver fits the safety belt. CONSTITUTION: When a safety belt is not fitted, conductive terminals 3, 4 and a connecting piece 5 are kept in contact with each other, a start relay coil 13 a is operated after a key is set to the position of a start terminal 11, an engine 15 is disconnected, and an automobile cannot be traveled. When the safety belt is fitted, the conductive terminals 3, 4 are separated from the connecting piece 5, both the start relay coil 13 a and a travel relay coil 16a are not operated, the engine 15 and a spark coil 18 are connected after the key is set to the position of the start terminal 11 and the position of a travel terminal 12, and the automobile can be started and traveled. |
