The angle attachment diverts the action of a hammer-drill into a different direction (21) by means of a transmission mechanism (12, 14) in a housing (23). It has a striker bar (13) extending in the diverted direction, and whose rear end (25) protrudes from the housing. A tool (27) can be mounted at this end for extracting nails etc. There can be a transverse face (22) on the bar and against which a striker body (12) acrs.
