A gwamegi (dried saury in cold place) sikhye (sweet drink made from fermented rice) composition, and its preparation method provided to remove the fishy smell of gwamegi and to increase the intake of EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). A gwamegi sikhye composition comprises the salted gwamegi by adding 1-20 % of salt to the washed gwamegi where head, internal organs, fin and tail are removed; 1-20 wt% of the radish salted with 3-15 % of salt; 1-7 wt% of garlic; 1-7 wt% of ginger; 40-70 wt% of the cereal bap (boiled rice); 3-20 wt% of powdered pepper; and 1-10 wt% of malt. |
