FITTING STRUCTURE FOR DOOR WEATHER STRIP

PURPOSE:To shield the door paint color between a door trim and a door weather strip by extending the door trim toward the weather strip fitting face of a door on the inside periphery of a vehicle room, and coupling the fitting base section of the door weather strip with the extended end section. CONSTITUTION:An extended end section 4 along the rise section 1c of a door inner panel 1b is integrally formed with a door trim 2 in advance, and the door trim 2 is fitted from the vehicle room inside of the door inner panel 1b so that the extended end section 4 is coupled with the outer periphery of the rise section 1c. A door weather strip 3 is arranged along a corner section between the stepped section 1d of the door inner panel 1b functioning as a weather strip fitting face and the rise section 1c. An anchor section 8 at the tip of the extended end section 4 is coupled with the fitting base section 6 of the door weather strip 3, a clip 9 is pressed into the fitting hole 10 on the door inner panel 1b side, and the door trim 2 and the door weather strip 3 are fastened together and fixed to the door inner panel 1b.
