<p>PURPOSE:To improve heat resistance by mixing water glass at a specific SiO2/Na2O molar ratio with at least one of an inorganic acid, organic acid, organic acid ester and silica gel. CONSTITUTION:At least one of an inorganic acid such as sulfuric acid, an organic acid such as formic acid, an organic acid ester such as methyl formate and hydrophilic silica gel fine powder is added and mixed with water glass at 1.5-3.0 molar ratio of SiO2/Na2O of Na2SiO3 so as to provide 0.15-0.85 molar concentration in the case of the inorganic acid, 0.3-2.5 molar concentration in the case of the organic acid, 5-50vol.% volume ratio in the case of the organic acid ester and 0.1-10wt.% in the case of the hydrophilic silica gel fine powder. Thereby, a transparent heat insulating material 3 is obtained. A heat-resistant adhesive 4 is then used to provide two transparent crystallized glass plates 2 held at a prescribed opposite interval using a frame unit 1. The aforementioned transparent heat insulating material 3 is subsequently placed therebetween and heat-treated to afford a fireproofing wall.</p> |
