Disclosed are novel, specific 7-aminoazolo-¢1,5-a! pyrimidines of the formula: where R1 is aryloxyalkoxyalkyl, alkoxyalkoxyalkyl, alkoxyalkoxyalkoxyalkyl or dialkylaminoalkyl, in which the aryl moiety is unsubstituted or monosubstituted or polysubstituted by straight-chain or branched alkyl, aryl, alkoxy, aryloxy, halogen, arylalkyl, arylalkoxy, dialkylamino or alkylarylamino, R2 and R3 are each hydrogen or alkyl and A is =N-, =CH-, =CBr- or =CCl-. These compounds have a fungicidal action superior to the known compounds of the same family, in particular in the case of Oomycetes, thereby making them useful as fungicides. |
