<p>A 17 KDa protein has been isolated from M. tuberculosis (South Indian Isolate -1) and sequenced. This 131 amino acid protein and fragments thereof including amino acids 68-77, 91-101 and/or 107-122, antibodies to the protein and the fragments and DNA encoding the protein or fragments, or DNA hybridisable to such DNA are of interest in the immuno diagnosis, therapy and vaccination in relation to human tuberculosis.</p> |
