PURPOSE:To produce the title agent which increases coloring and saccharinity of plant fruits, simplifies working operations, saves working costs and improving quality by admixing 3 or more kinds of substances selected from plant hormones, amino acids, nucleic acids and vitamins to CPTA substances. CONSTITUTION:CPTA, a carotin precursor, is combined with 3 or more kinds of substances selected from plant hormones (namely cell division substances, e.g., cytokinin, auxin or gibberelin), amino acids, nucleic acids, and vitamins to give the subject coloring-promoting and saccharinity-improving agent. This agent is applied to the root or foliage of the plant to increase coloring and saccharinity. The working operations can be simplified, labor costs are reduced. quality is improved whereby large economic effect is obtained. |
