<p>PURPOSE:To read data of a read card and that of read/write card with the same device by providing a card identifying part which detects the optical feature of an optical memory card by an optical head to identify the classification of the optical memory card. CONSTITUTION:The light from a light emitting part of an optical head 11 is reflected by the optical storage area of an optical memory card 5 and is received by a light receiving part and is amplified by an amplifier 20 and is compared with a reference voltage by a comparator 21. When the optical memory card 5 is a read card having a high reflection factor, the output signal in the high level is outputted from the comparator 21, and the output Q of a set circuit 22 goes to the high level, and a changeover switch 31 of a level control part 3 is switched to the short-circuited side to control a read signal to the level for read of the read card. When the optical memory card 5 is a read/write card having a low reflection factor, the output of the comparator 21 goes to the low level, and the output Q of the set circuit 22 goes to the low level, and the changeover switch 31 is switched to the side of a voltage dividing circuit 30 to control the read signal to the level for read of the read/ write card.</p> |
