FIELD: food products, dairy industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of dry milk reconstitution with ultrasound treatment involves treating mechanic mix of milk powder and water. In doing so, relation of ultrasound intensity, causing cavitation in the mix, to the square of hydrostatic pressure in the mix should not exceed 23 m/(MPa-s). The invention is goaled for manufacturing of reconstituted milk which is stable and resistant to layering under action of gravity and other external forces and which requires minimal power consumption for the reconstitution. ^ EFFECT: manufacturing of stable reconstituted milk with minimal power demands. ^ 1 tbl
