<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a lattice-laying brick for regenerator having high heat exchange efficiency by radially projecting a rib from each of 6 corners of a hexagonal main body and making the projection length of the rib to be nearly a half of the length of a side of the hexagonal main body. CONSTITUTION:The lattice laying bricks 1 are arranged in such a manner as to butt the ribs 3 together interposing a narrow gap and to form a ventilation hole 100 with 6 pieces of the ribs 3 and the side faces of the main bodies. After finishing the 1st stage arrangement, the bricks for the 2nd stage are arranged. In the 2nd stage, the lateral rows a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h... and the longitudinal columns 1, 2, 3, 4... are staggered from those of the 1st stage by one piece. A ventilation hole 200 formed of a main body 2 is positioned above a ventilation hole 100 circumscribed by the ribs 3 and the 2nd stage main body 2 is placed on the 1st stage ribs 3, 3 by this arrangement to attain extremely high construction stability. A lattice-laid regenerator can be constructed by stacking the layers one by one.</p> |
