PURPOSE:To ensure accurate positioning of a disk while preventing damage, by constituting of a disk inserted by half from the front side of a player main body is carried by a roll up to the limit point on the disk base and then moving down the disk base. CONSTITUTION:A disk 5 is inserted half through a front opening of a player main body 1, and a power button (not shown in the figure) is pushed. Then a photocoupler 9 detects the disk 5, and a motor 10 is actuated. Thus a roll 7 carries the disk 5 while pressing it to a disk base 6 via a gear mechanism. The disk 5 touches a bar 17 at its limit point, and slide shafts 17a at both sides of the bar 17 move toward an arrow A gainst a spring 20. The edges of the shafts 17a get out of a projection 6a of the base 6. Then the base 6 moves down and stops. The disk 5 is fitted to a platter 41 to present a reproducing mode. When the disk 5 is taken out, an ejection button (not shown in the figure) is pushed to reverse the above-mentioned procedure. In such a way, the disk 5 can be set accurately while preventing the disk from damage or contamination. |
