<p>PURPOSE:To enhance both of a flutter characteristic and steering stability, by using a boss metal fitting having almost plate-shape metal spring members radially interposed therein between inside and outside members. CONSTITUTION:A boss metal fitting B consists of an inside member 10, an outside member 11 and plate-shape spring members 12. The spring members 12 are radially arranged between the inside and outside members 10, 11 centering around the axial center of the boss metal fitting B and fixed to the outer periphery of the inside member 10 and the inner periphery of the outside member 11. By using the spring members 12 made of a metal, static torsional rigidity and dynamic torsional rigidity become almost equal to each other and, therefore, not only a flutter characteristic but also steering stability are enhanced. By using the spring members 12 extending in the axial direction, the shift of the inside and outside members 10, 11 in the axial direction is certainly prevented.</p> |
