PURPOSE:To obtain the title polymer blend of excellent photoconductivity by forming a charge transfer complex of two specified polymers between the P-type phase of one of the polymers and the N-type phase of the other. CONSTITUTION:A solution containing a polymer of a number-average MW of 1,000-1,000,000, comprising repeating units of formula I (wherein R is H or a 4C or lower alkyl, Z is an alkylene or an alkyleneoxyalkylene and R' is H or an alkyl) is mixed with a solution containing a polymer of a number- average MW of 1,000-1,000,000, comprising repeating units of formula II (wherein n is 1-3) at a molar ratio of 1:1 is applied to a conductive substrate and dried to form a charge transfer complex of a polymer comprising repeating units of formula I and a polymer comprising repeating units of formula II and having a dispersed structure in which these polymers are intruded into each other but are contiguous to each other between the P-type phase of the polymer comprising repeating units of formula I and the N-phase of the polymer comprising repeating units of formula II. |
