The invention is concerned with an electrode tool for electroerosive drilling of holes in a workpiece, comprising a shell having a working end, a central electrode fabricated from an electroconductive material disposed inside the shell with a gap therebetween and projecting away from the working end of the shell toward the workpiece. The electrode tool according to the invention is particularly useful in machining electroconductive materials and materials that are difficult to machine.
