Cutter for continuous feed film

The film is driven by a pair of drive rollers (2) and the rotating cutting rollers (1) cut the film into the programmed sections. The rollers are driven from the same main drive motor (4) which a stepping motor (19) and a differential drive provide an overlay drive for the drive rollers. - Sensors monitor the cutting marks (12) on the film, which are a preset spacing (A) from the actual cutting lines (13). The spacing is monitored and translated into impulse counts, to drive the stepping motor.
