PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to reduce power consumption, by disconnecting a switch and first and second clock gates before a prescribed time when the power source is applied on a transmission power amplifier part, and connecting them after the lapse of the prescribed time. CONSTITUTION:A control part 30 operates or stops the transmission power amplifier part 20 by performing ON/OFF control on a power source switch 23. Also, relating to the power applying operation of the transmission power amplifier part 20, it performs the ON/OFF control on an analog switch 11, and the first and the second clock gates 12 and 13 in a frequency synthesizer 10. In other words, control is applied so that those switch 11 and the clock gates 12 and 13 can be turned OFF(disconnected) by turning ON the switch 23 just before a power applying operation on the transmission power amplifier part 20, and also, they can be turned ON(conduction) after the lapse of the prescribed time. In such a way, it is possible to suppress change in load impedance in a voltage controlled oscillator in the frequency synthesizer at a low level, and to realize the miniaturization of the device and low power consumption.
