PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior sensi tivity and characteristics and reducing changes of the electric potentials of the light and dark parts during repeated electric charging and exposure by forming a layer contg. a specified compound. CONSTITUTION:A layer contg. a compound represented by the formula is formed. In the formula, each of R1 and R2 is optionally substituted alkyl, optionally substituted aralkyl, an optionally substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group, each of R3 and R4 is H, alkoxy, alkyl, halogen or nitro, Ar1 is an optionally substituted aromatic or heterocyclic group, and each of R5 and R6 is H, alkyl or alkoxy. The compound represented by the formula is preferably used as a charge transferring substance in a separated function type electrophotographic sensitive body having a photosensitive layer consisting of a charge generating layer and a charge transferring layer. The resulting sensitive body has high sensitivity and reduces changes of the electric potentials of the light and dark parts during repeated electric charging and exposure. |
