PURPOSE:To permit the sufficient mixing of material and improve the workability as well as the yield upon changing color by a method wherein about one half of pins, fixed to the groove of a screw, are so as to flow the material from the bottom of the groove toward the wall surface of a cylinder while the balance of the pins are slanted so as to flow the material from the wall surface of the cylinder toward the bottom of the groove of the screw. CONSTITUTION:Material, which flows through a passageway from the upstream side to the downstream thereof by the rotation of a screw 10, flows toward the front of pins 22 by the rows 18 of upstream pins and the rows 20 of downstream pins and flows through slanted holes 22a whereby the material in the bottom 14 of the groove of the screw is moved toward the wall surface 16 of a cylinder while the material, which does not flow through the slanted holes 22a, flows toward downstream around the outer peripheries of the pins 22. The material, which flows toward the pins 22', whose slanted holes 22a' are arranged so as to be slanted as shown by the slanted hole 22a' in a diagram, receives mixing effect contrary to the effect received by the material which flows through the slanted holes 22a by the effect of the slanted holes 22a'. The material, which passes through the row 18 of the upstream side pins, receives the same mixing effect by the row 20 of the downstream pins. |
