PURPOSE:To produce a soil conditioner particularly capable of effectively improving the soil fertility of farmland by effectively taking advantage of industrial wastes, by mixing dungs of domestic animals with seashell powder obtd. by pulverizing a seashell, sterilizing the seashell powder by oxidation and then drying the sterilized seashell powder in vacuo. CONSTITUTION:A shell of shellifishes, such as ark shell or oyster, is put into a feed port 1 and transferred with a shell-transfer conveyor 7 to a shell pulverizer 2, where it is pulverized. The shell powder thus obtd. is transferred with a shell-transfer conveyor 9 to a shell powder storage hopper 3 to store it. The stored shell powder is transferred together with a domestic animal which has been fed from a domestic animal dung feed port 4 by means of a shell-domestic animal dung transfer conveyor 10 to a mixer 5, where the shell powder and dung are mixed and the mixture is sterilized and dried in vacuo to obtain a soil conditioner. The soil conditioner is transferred with a product-transfer conveyor 11 and put into a storage hopper 6 to store it. When required, the stored soil conditioner is taken out of the hopper for use. |
