Bracing device for fastening a structural part on a shaft, having a clamping body which encloses the shaft, exhibits a slot running radially with respect to the shaft and, by means of a clamping screw and a clamping nut, can be acted upon by the pretensioning force necessary for securing the frictionally locking fastening. The clamping screw exhibits a first portion which runs tangentially with respect to the shaft and a second portion which is angled off with respect to the first portion, said second portion running on that side of the tangential plane of the first portion which is directed away from the shaft and enclosing an angle of up to approximately 45 DEG therewith.
