PURPOSE:To automatically inform the lifetime of a drive motor that affects a numerical controller with no periodical check, etc., by informing the lifetime of a brush of the motor after integrating the factors for the brush lifetime of the motor and comparing these integrated factors with the set value. CONSTITUTION:A drive motor 1 of a numerical controller 2 starts when a drive part 3 works in response to a command given from a command part 4 of the controller 2. The drive time, etc., serving as the factors for the lifetime of the motor 1 are supplied via the part 3 based on the start and end of the drive. These factors are integrated by a defect factor integrating means 5. When this integrated value reaches the set value of a setting part 6, an information signal is delivered from a comparator means 7. Then the brush lifetime of the motor 1 of the controller 2 is informed automatically through an instruction informing means 8 with no periodical check, etc. |
