1,4-Dialkyl-3-methyl-4-(3-substd. phenyl)piperidine (I) [R1, R2=C1-4 alkyl; R3=C1-3 alkoxy; R4,R5=The one is methyl, the other is hydrogen is prepd. by hydrogenation of 1,4-dialkyl-4-(3-substd. phenyl)-3-tetrahydropiperidine methane amine (II). In this reaction, the catalyst is palladium and reaction medium is basic solvent. The compd. (II) is prepd. by the reaction of 1,4-dialkyl-4substd. phenyl) -tetrahydropyridine with form aldehyde and NHR6R7 [R6,R7=C1-3 alkyl at pH 1.0 - 5.0.
