摘要 PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive and high-performance liquid crystal imprinting device for a printer by providing a lancing groove to the part right above a liquid crystal shutter array in a high-molecular plate. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a light source 3-1 is irradiated on the high-polymer plate 3-2 and is partly reflected but the light entering the inside of the plate repeats multiple reflections in the inside. The greater part of the light is emitted from the end face 3-6 of the plate 3-2. A V-groove 3-3 is formed to the part right above the liquid crystal shutter array 3-4 of such plate and when the end face 3-6 is coated with an aluminum reflection plate, etc. the light repeating multiple reflections is concentrically emitted from the groove 3-3. A phosphor for wavelength conversion is diffused in the plate 3-2.The effect is much higher by selecting the phosphor of which the wavelength after the conversion coincides best with the sensitivity of a photosensitive drum 3-5. The plate 3-2 is inexpensively available and the groove 3-3 can be easily formed by machining. The entire part of the constitution is thus made inexpensive and simple. The lower intensity of the light source is required and the degree of freedom for the sensitivity and wavelength dependency of the drum 3-5, etc. is increased.
