PURPOSE:To enhance the degree of freedom of network design by connecting signal networks via a local signal network so as to make a signal network to be connected independent mutually and minimizing the job man-hour attended with the network constitution change at each signal network after system establishment. CONSTITUTION:Each of plural signal networks by the common line signal system consists of >= a signal station such as 1, 1i, 1j, 2, 2j, 2i. At least one signal station among the said signal stations is selected by gate stations 1, 2. Between the plural signal networks, a >= a local signal network C connecting a gate station 1 of a signal network A and a gate station 2 of other signal network B in point-to-point way via a signal line (l) is set, and the mutual connection among the plural signal networks is performed via the local signal network C set between the connected signal networks A and B. Thus, the signal networks to be connected are made mutually independent.
