<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic recording medium having excellent corrosion resistance and running stability by forming a top coat layer contg. the salt of a nitrogen-contg. heterocyclic compd. and aliphatic amine on the surface of a magnetic layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:The top coat layer contg. the salt of at least one kind of the nitrogen-contg. heterocyclic compd. selected from triazole, imidazole, carbazole and indole and the primary or secondary aliphatic amine is formed on the surface of the ferromagnetic layer on the substrate. The coefft. of friction on the surface of the magnetic layer is thereby decreased and the magnetic recording medium having the excellent running stability and corrosion resistance is obtd.</p> |
