PURPOSE:To simplify a mechanism, by providing a single one-way clutch in the all power transmission systems and selectively using in common said single one-way clutch. CONSTITUTION:A gear type transmission A, combining clutch units 4, 8, interrupting on-off clutches 5, 9 and synchromesh units 50, 60 to be connected or engaged, attains a 4-forward and 1-reverse speed change shift. The transmission A is equipped with two driving gear shafts (input shaft) 1, 2 mutually arranged on an equal axial line and one driven gear shaft (output shaft) 3 parallelly provided to these driving gear shafts. The other end of the driving gear shaft 1 is selectively connected with an output shaft 101 through the interrupting on-off clutch 5, one-way clutch 6 and an intermediate shaft 7.
