PURPOSE:To provide the titled vibration damper which can be readily applied and has excellent vibration damping performance, consisting of an org. binder obtd. by blending vinyl chloride resin with a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and a filler. CONSTITUTION:1-45pts.wt. plasticizer (e.g. di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate) or 0.5-35 pts.wt. cumarone resin and 50-450pts.wt. filler (e.g. flaky filler such as natural mica) are blended with 100pts.wt. org. binder composed of 95-40pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin or vinyl chloride copolymer and 5-60pts.wt. thermoplastic polyurethane resin. Optionally, additives such as stabilizer, lubricant, etc. are added thereto to obtain the desired vinyl chloride resin vibration damper.
