<p>PURPOSE:To burn deposits in a particulate trap completely by providing belt- shaped electric heater to the inside of all cells opening at the inlet side of waste gas in a stage for forming a roll shaped or layer-built structure body using corrugated sheet and flat sheet. CONSTITUTION:Independently formed plugs 17b are formed to the inside of ends of cells 16b of a roll shaped honeycomb structure body 19a. Further, metal paste 9 applied in the belt shape to the upper surface of a flat sheet 8 and being held partly between tops 7a of the corrugated sheet 5 intrudes spirally to the inside of the roll shaped honeycomb structure body 19a. When the roll shaped honeycomb structure body 19a is calcined, the metal paste 9 is also sintered and electric heaters 20a are formed at the end of the inlet of the honeycomb structure cell body 16a inner than the plug 17b. As described above, since electric heaters are provided to all cells at the inlet side of waste gas of a trap, regeneration of the trap is executed completely.</p> |
