PURPOSE:To decrease traffic between an exchange main body and an switchboard and to reduce tone connecting time by devising the titled method that a corresponding tone source is connected automatically to a subscriber when a special number is dialed from the subscriber. CONSTITUTION:When the subscriber 1 hooks off and receives a dial reception preparation end tone 3, the subscriber 1 dials a special number. When the exchange receives the 1st number from the subscriber 1, the end tone 3 is released and moves to the dial receiving state. The dial reception from the subscriber 1 is finished, then a tone call tone 4 corresponding to the special number is acquired, the subscriber 1 and the call tone 4 are connected by a network 2 and the state transits to the tone monitor state. The call tone 4 is released when the subscriber 1 hooks on and the state transits to the subscriber idle state. When a busy tone 7 is desired to be monitored further, the subscriber 1 dials a special number only representing the tone kind after hooking-off, then the corresponding busy tone 7 is monitored via a bus 8. |
