PURPOSE:To improve the resolution, to quicken the print speed and to save memories by using a picture memory storing reception data also as the content of transmission at multiple address transmission. CONSTITUTION:When a copy key is turned off and a multiple address transmis sion key is depressed, destination data inputted from a ten-key is stored in an RAM 52. Then the data from a read section 100 is converted into an interme diate code by depressing an input end key of the destination data and stored in a picture memory 10. When the storage for one page's share of an original is finished, the transmission of an MODEM 30 and an NCU 31 is set for the 1st destination, the data read from the picture memory 10 is converted into an MH code or an MR code and transmitted to a line 400. The operation above is executed for all destinations. The picture memory 10 is used to store temporar ily the received data inputted from the line 400.
