PURPOSE:To minimize the storage capacities of ROMs of a measuring instrument body and a microcomputer part by providing the measuring instrument body, hand-held computer, etc. CONSTITUTION:When the main body and hand-held computer 31 are powered on and a measurement mode is specified with a sheet key 33, command specification is displayed on the liquid-crystal display monitor 32 of the computer 31 according to a procedure stored previously in the ROM28 of the computer 31. An operator, therefore, performs measuring operation according to it. The measurement result obtained through a probe, i.e. measured level is inputted to the CPU24 through a level adjusting knob 30 and a receiver circuit 26 and the output waveform of a cathode-ray tube part is inputted through a cathode- ray tube screen 22 and an A/D converter 25. Further, they are sent to the microcomputer part of the computer 31 through a circuit 27 to calculate a measured value, which is displayed on the display monitor 32 and also printed out on a printer 34. Thus, the storage capacity of the ROM28 is minimized. |
