PURPOSE:To always develop and good treatment capacity by preventing the lowering in centrifugal force at the reduction time of a flow amount, by successively fully closing the inlet dampers and outlet dampers of a plurality of dust collectors corresponding to the reduction in the flow amount of passing gas. CONSTITUTION:Mechanical dust collectors 1A-1C are arranged in parallel and the inlet sides thereof are connected to an inlet duct 3 through inlet side branched ducts 2A-2C while the outlet sides thereof are connected to an outlet duct 5 through outlet side branched ducts 4A-4C. Inlet dampers 6A-6C are provided to the inlet side branched ducts 2A-2C and outlet dambers 7A-7C are provided to the outlet side branched ducts 4A-4C and the opening and closing control of all dampers is performed corresponding to the flow amount of passing gas detected by the flow amount detectors provided to the inlet duct 3 and the outlet duct 5. Therefore, high dust collection efficiency is kept by a necessary number of dust collectors corresponding to the flow amount of the gas.
