A mouth-care device with a rotatable brush portion (2) and a handle portion (1) connected with the latter via a rotatable shaft (3). The handle portion contains a drive system (10) for producing the rotary movement of the brush portion. A liquid feed line (28) is provided which, in the region of the brush portion (2), leads into one or several openings for the discharge of the liquid which is fed under pressure through the liquid feed line. The brush portion (2) and rotatable shaft (3) are arranged coaxially. The bristles of the brush portion (2) are arranged one after the other in the direction of the rotational axis and radially away from the latter. The liquid feed line (28) can be passed through the rotatable shaft (3) in its longitudinal direction, the openings in the region of the bristles being oriented radially outwards through the axial body of the brush portion (2). The brush portion (2) can, however, also be partly covered by a protective cap (30) in the peripheral direction, the liquid feed line (28) being passed through the protective cap in such a way that its openings are arranged on the side of the protective cap which is exposed to the brush portion. |
