The boil-in-bag sachet consists of a cup (32) and a lid part (38) and is made of polypropylene film. The cup (32) is designed with a flange (34) and has a tab (36). The lid part is connected via a heat-sealed seam (40) to the flange of the cup (32). A tear-open aid in the form of a point (42) is directed towards the outer side of the tab (36). The lid part (38) can be peeled off from the cup since the heat-sealed seam between the polypropylene films has sufficient seam strength under the effect of heat against the swelling pressure of the dumpling in boiling water with relatively low separation forces of the upper and lower film. <IMAGE>
