PURPOSE:To improve the circuit utilization effeciency of a radio circuit by shortening the information transmission time by re-editing and transmitting information while cutting a pause sound and unneeded sound components. CONSTITUTION:An audio signal inputted 11 has its soundless component cut by a sound switch is pause extracting circuit 12, and control part 15 actuates A/D conversion part 13 which has received this signal to attain digital coding through simple A/D converting operation whose grade is lowered to an extent where the single-tone component of the audio signal from circuit 12 is not lost. Those digital codes are sequentially stored in buffer memory 14 by commands from control part 15 to centralize information, and information edited in memory 14 is transmitted to a radio transmission part via compressed signal output terminal 16 or to a tansmission part connnected to a telephone set. |
