The invention relates to various types of occasional furniture, acting both as an occasional table and a cupboard, which can be dismantled, are portable and can be assembled on a do-it-yourself basis, without screws or bolts and without the need for tools. The device which is the subject of the invention is based on the combination of a tabletop 1, supported by two struts 23 and 26 locked by a key 8, which forms simultaneously the bottom of the shelf, and of a wall cupboard closed by means of doors. The storage table consists of a tabletop 1 locked on the struts 23 and 26 which are locked themselves by a key 8, of a top 14 which has two functions: either to serve as a complementary shelf, or to serve as a platform complementary to the tabletop 1, and finally of a top 15 having holes 17 for bottlenecks and a bucket 5 to receive the dishes. The device which is the subject of the invention is very appropriate for modern life among young people. It will be very popular among elderly people, in small apartments, in the country, in the garden, in caravans etc. It can be turned into a wall-cupboard, a table for one person and a table for two persons. <IMAGE>
