Shelter and protection for people against atomic, biological and chemical risks. The invention relates to the manufacture, equipping and construction of a shelter providing protection for people against the risks of atomic, biological and chemical contamination. The shelter, in the form of a container, whose dimensions are within the constraints imposed by road-transportation regulations, consists of two shells entirely manufactured in the factory. The first 1, made from metal sheets assembled by continuous welding, provides perfect sealing. The second 2, made from timber and timber-derivative panels, prevents condensation phenomena. The cavity walls formed by these two shells are filled with concrete after the container is lowered into the pit dug out for this purpose. The device according to the invention is entirely manufactured and equipped in the factory for survival. <IMAGE>
