PURPOSE:To unnecessitate to conduct a vacuum treatment of a heat pipe and a heat-transmitting medium pouring-in operation at a working and assembly site, by a method wherein a heat pipe is divided into several pipes, end parts of both kinds of pipe units are sealed by a glass or the like, and the pipe units are integrally connected to each other when using the heat pipe. CONSTITUTION:Of divided pipes, a metallic pipe 1 has a vacuum internal space, and an end part thereof is sealed by a sealing material 2 such as a glass. On the other hand, a heat-transmitting medium is sealed in a pipe 4, and an end part of the pipe 4 is sealed by a sealing material 3 such as a glass. The pipes 1, 4 are jointed to each other by a brazing material 6, and the sealing material 5 is broken by exerting external forces on a joint part 7, thereby communicating both of the pipe units to each other. Accordingly, ransportation and working are facilitated, the vacuum treatment and the heat-transmitting medium pouring-in operation at the site are unnecessitated, and the sealing material such as the glass broken after jointing the pipe units functions as boiling tips, thereby enhancing the performance of the heat pipe. |
