<p>PURPOSE:To provide a steering device having a satisfactory control ability, by providing such an arrangement that the displacement of an intermediate shaft due to bending of a vehicle body and vibration of the intermediate shaft, relative to the vehicle body, is effectively absorbed by a spring member disposed in a rear wheel steering mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A gear 41 secured onto a rotary shaft 40 which is rotatably attached to a housing, opposing a rotary shaft 27, is meshed with a gear 39 that is integrally and rotatably fitted onto the fitting section 12c of an output shaft 12b. A first spring member 43 composed of a Bellerville spring is disposed between the fitting section 12c of the output shaft 12b which is a shoulder part having an increased diameter, and a bearing 42 which is arranged in the housing 21 of a rear wheel steering control device 15 and serves as a fixing member for limiting the axial motion of the intermediate shaft 12. Further, a bearing 44, a second spring member 45 and a spring seat 46 are arranged in the mentioned order between a fitting section 33a and the fitting section 12c.</p> |
