摘要 PURPOSE:To contrive the reduction of the number of processes, improvement of reliabilility, and integration by a method wherein a plurality of light emitting diodes are arranged on a conductive substrate in lines and rows, and wherein an electrode wiring is performed by the deposit of vapor deposited film to the diode in every line, which diodes are thus formed in matrix form by hybrid system. CONSTITUTION:An elastic insulation material 5 such as polyamide resin is applied over the conductive substrate 4 and then dried, and removed parts 6 are formed in this layer-deposited material 5 by arrangement in fixed lines and rows. Ag paste or the like is attached over the substrate 4 in each removed part 6, said diode 3 is fitted in each part 6 and then electrically connected over the substrate 4 by means of adhesive. Next, using a metal mask, etc., the vapor deposited film 7 of metal is attached to the diode 3 in every line in band form, resulting in electrode wiring. Besides, the substrate 4 is etched so that the diodes 3 are separated for every row. Therefore, each deposited film 7 serves as a line electrode, and the continuous section separated of the substrate 4 serves as a row electrode accordingly each diode 3 is constructed in matrix form by hybrid system.
