PURPOSE:To increase the turning speed of a position detector to secure high positioning accuracy by connecting the position detector between the output shaft of a controlled part driving motor and the input shaft of a decelerator. CONSTITUTION:The position detector 11 consisting of slit brades 22, a pair of photosensors 23, 24 and a shaft 21 is arranged between the controlled part driving motor 10 and the decelerator 12. The slit brades 22 from slits on the disc at equal interval. When light emitting diodes 23a, 24a are allowed to coincide with phototransistors 23b, 24b completely, the output of the detector 11 is maximized, and if both the positions are shifted, the output is reduced. The rotational direction can be decided by shifting the phases of the photosensors 23, 24 by 1/4 and checking the output positions. In addition, the turning speed can be measured from the output pulse. |
