The pump contains a pump chamber with a fuel inlet from the supply tank and a delivery valve to the emulsifier in the air intake manifold. The delivery valve unit consists of three connected sections inside a special housing screwed into the fuel pump housing. The first section called the inlet, screws into a centre part which has an annular chamber with one or more channels connecting the inlet valve with the discharge valve chamber. The discharge and/or inlet valve has a valve unit formed of hardened plastic with a metal support ring for the valve return spring.
