Retractable steps composed of a pivoting upper section 3 along which one or more ladder elements 4, 5 slide, the axis of rotation of the section 3 passing through one of the topmost rungs 7 of the section 3. This section is mounted on supports 6 which are articulated to fixing brackets 8 connected to the ceiling 1 on either side of the trapdoor 2 into which the ladder is to lead. Depending on the position of the supports 6, flat against the ceiling or bearing against stops 9, the ladder can be inclined towards one of the edges of the trapdoor or towards the opposite edge. <IMAGE> |
