PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily applying sharp printing to a crosslinked rubber.plastic cable prior to perfect curing due to crosslinking, by performing emboss printing in the crosslinking pipe near to the outlet of an extruder crossshead by a printing roll. CONSTITUTION:An emboss printing roll 11 is placed on the upper surface of the uncrosslinked rubber.plastic cable 4' issued from a crosshead 2 under a wt. applied state before crosslinking is completed by using an emboss printing press 6 to perform emboss printing while rotated. By this method, because emboss printing is performed under the wt. applied state before the rubber or plastic layer is cured, printing can be easily and sharply performed. In addition, because the printing roll 11 is moved up and down, it can follows the catenary change of the cable 4 and the wts. 12, 14 are further changed accordng to the size of the cable to make is possible to perform emboss printing under an optimum wt. |
