The screwdriver shaft (1) is cranked into Z-form by bending it in two places. The handle has a bore with a reduced diameter (4) at the blind end, where there are two alternative side-by-side recesses (5,5a) in which the shaft end (1a) can be inserted by manual pressure against the preload force of coil spring (2). One recess (5) has a polygonal section locking on to the shaft, and the other has a circular section allowing rotation of the shaft relative to the handle. The screwdriver point is positioned in the screwhead with the shaft locked. ADVANTAGE - Simple, low-cost design. Quick and easy to use.
