PURPOSE:To raise the safeness and operability of the printer for cash accounting machine of a bank, etc., by using the system in which, when the separation of a printer cover is detected, the printer is stopped, and printing data of a printing buffer register are printed from the beginning. CONSTITUTION:When a printer cover 5 is separated, the motor of a printer 15 is stopped by the signal of a micro switch 6 by means of a centralized control circuit 13. Accordingly, when the printer 15 is exposed, the printer 15 does not work and its safety can thus be ensured. Also, when the cover is separated during the printing period, printing is stopped, and when the cover is again set, dot row numbers for one line of printing data in a print buffer register 14 are again set, papers for one line are fed out, and printing data for one line are again printed from the beginning. Thus, the operability is raised without the need for key input. Also, all lamps 9-11 are flashed when the cover is separated to inform of the separated state. |
