The invention relates to a fireproof closure along track-bound conveying systems, which is characterised in that there is arranged in front of an orifice (1a) in a firewall (1), through which at least one track (7) leads, a closed frame (2) which consists of fire-resistant material and is provided with an entry orifice and in which a box (4), which likewise consists of fire-resistant material and is open on the end face and in which at least one track section (5) is located, is so arranged transversely displaceably that the box (4) can be brought into rectilinear alignment with the track (7) of one track system and, after displacement, with the track of the other system which leads into an orifice of the box (4), the gap between the frame (2) and the box (4) constituting a contactless seal in fire-prevention terms. <IMAGE>
