The handtruck (A) has two parallel longitudinal members which form a frame and have backward extensions. The handles, the supporting arms of which identify with the ends of the longitudinal members, are shortenable or extensible, e.g. in telescopic manner. Outside the longitudinal members are located idle translation wheels (3) by means of U-bolt supports which are welded to the longitudinal members, thus realising a bridge-shaped structure for receiving an accumulation and return device (B) between the wheels and under the frame. The accumulation and return device comprises a conventional upper coupling device such as screw clamps, bayonet joints, lever clamps etc., which is mounted on a telescopic guide (4) for being longitudinally moved from a retracted position to an advanced position. This moves the handtruck respectively on the wheels of the handtruck or the accumulation and return device. The latter is prearranged for movements on plane surface in emergency condition (as for example for going down the stairs) by means of respective front small wheels. The device can operate as an energy accumulator, e.g. on a downward sloping surface, for then returning energy when going up again. |
