<p>PURPOSE:To correct erroneous recognition simply, to revise the standard pattern and to improve the rate of recognition, by comparing the characteristic of a monosyllable sound with a standard sound pattern to be registrated and using a plurality of results of recognition with high similarity. CONSTITUTION:A characteristic of a monosyllable sound signal from a microphone 11 is picked up 12. A switch 13 is selected to A, and registrated in a standard pattern registration section 14-1. Next, the switch is selected to B, the characteristic of monosyllable to be checked is picked up 12 and applied to a similarity calculation section 15, the similarity with all the standard patterns in the standard pattern registration section 14-1 is calculated and some of higher similarity are given to a recognition order control section 14-3. The section 14-3 displays 16 the result from the higher similarity and this step is continued until the speaker recognizes the coincidence. If the recognition is not coincident for the higher similarity, a standard pattern automatic revision control section 14 is driven with the control of a mis-recognition correction operating section 17 to revise the standard pattern 14-1. Thus, erroneous recognition can simply be saved and the rate of recognition can be increased.</p> |
